Our weekly Current Affairs quiz is designed to complement our Focus Week and to keep our students abreast of the hot topics across the UK and then globally.
Each tutor groups enters the weekly competition and their scores contribute to an overall House tally which adds up to a trophy being awarded at the end of the Summer Term.
The end of the Autumn Term saw the following scores on the doors:
1st Place: Seward with 2584 points
2nd Place: Garrick with 2526 points
3rd Place: Johnson with 2443 points
4th Place: Darwin with 2413 points
Sam Sullivan, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The current affairs quiz is just another strand of our work on SMSC and British Values and it plays an important role in the inter-House rivalry. Seward House currently lead the way but there is plenty of time for this to turnaround before the end of the school year.”
