Sixth Form Outcomes

Our Sixth Form outcomes are reported annually on the DfE Performance Tables and in recent years we have achieved outstanding exam results.

The key measurement for any school is Progress and this determines how far the students have improved since sitting their GCSE-level exams.

However, due to the COVID pandemic, the measurements for Summer 2022 and Summer 2023 will be based solely on attainment – so the straight-forward grades the students get. This measurement is not so balanced as it favours selective schools but in the absence of formal exams it is the only realistic option.

Our most recent Sixth Form Outcomes came in Summer 2023 and were a cause of much celebration:

A-Level Attainment

These results are based on the grades attained in A-Level subjects which run from A*-E:

Measurement School National
A-Level Result Average B- TBC
A-Level Points Average 38.11 TBC

Applied / Vocational Qualification Attainment

These results are based on the grades attained in vocational subjects which run through from Distinction* / Distinction / Merit / Pass:

Measurement School National
Vocational Result Average Distinction* – TBC
Vocational Points Average 42.07 TBC
