KS3 (Years 7-9) Home Learning

Each fortnight students will be set two Home Learning Assignments (HLAs) that they will have two weeks to complete.

Each HLA will be a focused piece of independent study that should require approximately three hours of input from the student.

Mathematics and MFL will continue to set short weekly HLAs in order to support the consolidation of new skills and vocabulary.

Students can expect their HLAs to be returned with assessment within two weeks of the hand in date.

All HLAs should be downloaded from www.showmyhomework.com

KS4 (Years 10-11) Home Learning

Home learning is equally important for our Key Stage Four students and plays a key role in securing the high grades we seek to support all our students in achieving.

Each student is expected to work on a minimum of two subjects per evening and should spend at least 45 minutes on each subject.

For homework set as an individual piece, there will be a minimum of three nights for completion. However, where projects are set, or preparation for controlled assessment is taking place, it is the responsibility of the student to spend dedicated time each week on such tasks.
