Fund-Raising
Our school is a dedicated fund-raiser and prioritizes local charities and organisations that operate in and support our own community.
This community sees our school raise totals well into 5-figures each school year so we make a real difference.
Our students are passionate for their local charities – and benefit from the real partnerships that have been built-up – rather than simply seeing us sending off a cheque to a distant charity who may send us a catch-all ‘thank-you’ letter back.
Equally, our parents whole-heartedly buy into our projects and their support is crucial in helping the Houses compete to win the annual Charity Trophy each academic year
This partnership work has seen guest speakers from hospices, dogs in school, and even helicopters dropping onto our site !
Our Houses each have Charity Reps and a local charity chosen by their students:
* Darwin House – The Max & George Dogs Trust
* Garrick House – Lichfield Foodbank
* Johnson House – St Giles Hospice
* Seward House – Midland Air Ambulance
Elsewhere, our Sixth Form works with Lichfield St Chad Rotary as part of our Interact Club on local fund-raising and in recent times have donated substantial sums to organisations like Pathways Project and Guide Dogs for The Blind.
