Holly B was nominated by Mr Sleigh for her “outstanding contribution to Seward House” throughout her school career. Mr Sleigh added that Holly is working really hard in school and this produces excellent results. Holly has received awards for both academic success and attendance in House assemblies this year, in addition to which she has committed to achieving a Duke of Edinburgh Award. Holly is looking forward to the Year 11 France trip to Paris in the Autumn Term.
 
Emily W has just been appointed as Johnson’s Vice-Captain for next year. She demonstrates a “fantastic attitude to school” and gets involved in everything school life has to offer. In nominating Emily,  Johnson’s Head of House Miss Wright added that Emily had gone “above and beyond” in collecting evidence for the Year 8 Character Award.
 
Sienna H was nominated for her “excellent attitude to learning” and also an “incredible contribution” for her House on Sports Day. Miss Golder, Head of Garrick House, said this included a “very impressive” performance in the 200m race.
 
Mark Drury, Headteacher, said: “This week’s nominees reflected the time of school year, with Sports Day success and consistently excellent contributions over the year reflected in the nominations. These students are also involved in various student leadership roles and have a big year ahead of them too.”
