Edward in Year 8 represented Cannock Schools District at the county finals on Saturday. He won a double gold, in shot and hammer.
 
This was an especially impressive performance as he was competing against Year 9 boys from across the county. Despite being a year younger, he won by over 50cm.
 
Ed is currently ranked 3rd in the UK for his age group, which is a fantastic achievement. He’s now representing Staffordshire in the Mason Trophy final on Saturday.
