Today Year 10 students were joined by Sgt Clayton from the RAF. The visit was to raise awareness of the many meaningful careers within the RAF and to help support our students with career options. The RAF offers a wide range of careers for officers, air and space operations, logistics, intelligence, music, cyber space, ground combat and security, engineering, people operations and medical services, combining technical expertise, leadership, and global operational experience.
Sgt Clayton gave us great insight into his lengthy career pathway and how enriching life can be with travel and employment perks within the RAF.
There are also a number of apprenticeship opportunities just waiting to be discovered. Link contains information to research RAF careers: RAF Recruitment | RAF Roles | Royal Air Force
The RAF is holding its next Virtual RAF World event tomorrow (22 Apr 2026). Students aged 16+ are invited to join online to find out more about the RAF, their mission, people, and the roles they offer. There is no cost to attending and parents are encouraged to join. The supporting flyer is attached here and contains the link to book a free ticket.
