As Johnson House Week approached its climax, our Traitors Finale saw Claudia… we mean Miss Butler… introduce the remaining contestants in their final showdown.
At the Round(ish) Table, Mr Buxton revealed his ‘secret’ – that he had actually entered the game with his wife, Mrs Buxton. The first round of finale voting then saw Mr Bentley banished, and he turned out to be a Faithful! The team decided to vote again, resulting in Miss Wright’s banishment. Whilst the Head of Johnson may have seemed a likely suspect during House Week, she was in fact revealed to be… another Faithful.
Which left the final two: Mr Buxton and Mrs Lear.
The suspense was huge. With the bell ringing to go to class, Mr Buxton revealed that he was, and always had been, a Faithful! But would he get to share the prize?
Up next to reveal her allegiance was Mrs Lear. And with a flick of her cloak, Mrs Lear revealed that she was, in fact, a TRAITOR! Very well played, Mrs Lear.
Our students have loved the unfolding drama this week. The packed-out Theatre for the Finale bodes well for Johnson House’s fundraising for their chosen charity, St Giles Hospice – a very worthy cause indeed.
