A fantastic way to support our school would be attending our ever-popular PTFA Quiz Night. On Thursday 29th January we’ll be welcoming keen local quizzers who are all determined to claim the coveted winners’ trophy and celebratory fizz.
As ever, there will be a PTFA bar to help raise additional funds. At half time, there will be a Jacket Potato Tea.
Tickets cost £10 per person on Parent Pay and includes entry into the quiz and your Jacket Potato Tea. Teams of up to 6 players are welcome. Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7pm start -please be prompt so we can take your order and get you settled with a drink.
All funds raised from this event will go towards The Friary School PTFA, who work tirelessly to put on fun events that will enable us to fund extra projects in school. This year we are very keen to raise money for better outdoor and covered seating for students.
Sophie Grigg, Assistant Headteacher, said: “Events like this are a great way to get to know staff, meet other parents and get involved in supporting your child whilst they attend The Friary. All the funds raised go into projects that provide those important little extras.”
