Our Autumn Whole-School Show, ‘The Addams Family’, played out to 4 full houses – three evenings and a matinee as audiences were treated to a superb production telling the tale of one of the most iconic famous families for all generations.
The grand set – a monster to assemble – played host to string of fine performers including Matt Allen, as Gomez Addams., Phoebe Marsh, as Morticia Addams, and Rose Walker, as Uncle Fester.
Before the stage was our fantastic orchestra who played the accompanying music throughout.
Elsewhere the direction, choreography, set design, sound, and lighting only added to the show which included over 150 children (about a sixth of the school) in one role or another.
The evening was also supported by our fantastic PTFA who arranged refreshments and raffles to raise funds to support events just like this,
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said; “This was a magnificent production and we were delighted it proved so popular with the audiences. The students loved doing it, the staff felt all the hard work was wholly worthwhile, and there will be a new generation of Year 7 students who were initiated into our schools shows and will one day take on those lead roles.”
