Each year our school co-ordinates a collection for The Rotary Club Shoebox Appeal through our close partnership with Lichfield St Chad Rotary Club.

The scheme has been operating for 30 years and aims to deliver gifts for babies, children, teenagers and households in the most deprived communities in Eastern Europe.

The response to this year’s appeal was exceptional and surpassed all previous records for the number of boxes filled.

David Cooke from the Lichfield St Chad Rotary Club came and collected our boxes and delivered them to the Rugeley depot from where they will be shipped to the continent.

Helen Barratt, Assistant Headteacher, said: “We support Rotary in this venture every year and it never ceases to amaze me how generous our students and parents are. It really is very gratifying to know that we are contributing to such a worthy cause”.
