Our Year 7 netballers have been training for the last few weeks after school at netball club and were looking forward to their first school fixture away at The Hart School.
The girls came away victorious, with a 9-5 win. Despite the girls learning to settle into their new positions, they played well and will only improve as they move forward.
Emma Ballentyne was awarded Player of the Match by the opposition, but all our girls stood out.
Trudy Simkiss, team coach, said: “Huge thanks to The Hart for this fixture – they had some great players and it was a good match-up. We look forward to seeing our girls develop into the team in the weeks, months and years ahead of them.”
