Our Sixth Form team and Headteacher went down to a post-16 event held at Nether Stowe High School to offer Sixth Form places to the Year 11s – and to meet Year 10 families getting ahead of the process.
The event was part of Nether Stowe High School’s efforts to support their children into post-16 placements with their own Sixth Form potentially closing.
The Friary has benefitted in the past from some wonderful ex-Nether Stowe students joining our Sixth Form and we are ready to continue this transition.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We are close enough to walk to, get great results, have a broad offer, and can promise a warm welcome. We also already work closely with King Edwards so there is no concern about tying in with Nether Stowe to support transition. Nether Stowe students looking for a local option have us to turn to and can contact our office email to book a tour to inform their decision.”
