Our new Year 11s were welcomed back into school with their Engineering coursework results and the Exam Board only gave out superb grades across the board.
The students were delighted – and we were keen to make a fuss as well – if only to flag up to each of them that they can do amazingly in their exams, if they just put their mind to it.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “Confidence and momentum are critical to secure exam success – when you see you can, you believe you can, and the ball can be kept rolling all through the Summer exams as well. It can often by that children and parents thing education is too much and not for them , but in our school this would always be wrong – everyone does well in their studies with us if they turn up, buy in, and give their all.”
