We were delighted to be contacted by the OCR Exam Board in reference to our OCR Cambridge National in Sports Studies course which is taken by our Year 10-11 students.

The course always gets excellent results but we were still thrilled to be informed that three Year 11 students were singled out by the Exam Board as being amongst the very top performers in the country this year.

The students were Archie Clark, Holly Larkin and Aiofe Wakeham and OCR contacted us to say:

“I am very pleased to inform you that the following candidates were… top performers in OCR’s Cambridge National in Sport Studies this summer. OCR is one of the leading UK awarding bodies, which means they are each one of the top performing students in the country. Many congratulations to your students and to your school for this impressive achievement.”

Sam Foster, Head of Performance & Technologies, said: “This is a hugely impressive achievement by the three students and reflects the superb results achieved by the whole cohort. We take great pride in challenging our students to be the best they can be and being marked out by a national exam board for your excellence has to be viewed as right up there.”
