Our school was fortunate to welcome Janet Higgins, Staffordshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education & SEND, and the Reform County Councillor for Lichfield Rural West, to our school.
The visit brought the opportunity for school leaders to talk about case studies and wider issues including SEND and curriculum.
Elsewhere, there were discussions on school developments and wider support from our school for the local community.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “Councillor Higgins was incredibly generous with her time and clearly has genuine passion to support young people and families. She offered valuable insights, a real understanding of the challenges out there, and a knowledge of our school and how well our students and families are doing.”
