Our school recently met with Matthew Wallens, a former Friary student who the Curborough District Council district voted in as their District Councillor.

We met with Councillor Wallens to talk about school growth, local Sixth Form provision, and to welcome him back into our school has our local political representative.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “Councillor Wallens was hugely supportive of our work and clearly wanted to make a difference for the local community. We have always sought to work with local politicians and we are grateful Councillor Wallens was keen to meet with us and to support our students and families.”
