Darwin House emerged victorious in the battle for the House Cup – beating Seward House who had seemingly had a stranglehold on the trophy. Seward did get some revenge by winning Sports Day!

This House Cup victory meant Darwin House took centre stage all morning on Rewards Day with our hugely popular inflatable day seeing students have a fantastic time. In the afternoon, those students who got the most House Points in their Year Group from the other Houses got their chance to enjoy the day, followed by top Sixth Formers, and even staff.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “Congratulations to Darwin House – very well deserved – and the Rewards Day was as popular as ever. All Houses had reason to celebrate, but not everyone can win when it comes to life – whether than be with jobs, university places, apprenticeships, or anyting else – and it is the same with our Rewards Day. With the House Celebration Assemblies to come, as well as with the Attendance Rewards, most chidlren will have reasons to celebrate, and there is always next year to get better still.”
