Our Summer Sizzler – our outdoor music festival – takes place on the evening of Thursday 10 July and tickets are now available.

The event will have its usual mix of live music – from a multitude of bands – food and drink outlets provided by our wonderful PTFA, and a wide range of fund-raising stalls by our House teams and Sixth Form, as well as other special offerings from local providers.

As part of this year’s event, we are encouraging students to help with donations to maximise our PTFA fund-raising. Our school budget is facing the very toughest of times so every penny will count towards making sure we can continue to bring children and families the outcomes and events that we currently deliver.

We are asking for:
* Darwin students to donate tombola gifts and bottles
* Garrick students to donate teddies and toys
* Johnson students to donate sweets and chocolates
* Seward students to donate cake (to arrive in W/B 7 July).

All donations can be handed in to form tutors and Heads of House and attract House points too.

Sophie Grigg, Assistant Headteacher, said: “This is a well-loved event and we are looking to make the most of we can so that the impact stretches far beyond the evening on its own. The music will be great, there will be lots for all the family to get involved in, and tickets are available now via Parent Pay.”
