We are delighted to be hosting a free SEND Conference as part of our Trust’s commitment to work with partners from across the country so that we can all connect, learn and grow together in supporting special educational needs in our settings.
The event has a wide range of excellent speakers including Dr Pooky Knightsmith, The PDA Society, Restorative Practice, Michael Barton, Evidence for Leaning (EfL) and Landu Du Plooy.
It takes place at our school on Monday 2 June, between 9.00am-3.00pm, and as well as being free to attend there is a complimentary lunch as well.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We are thrilled to be hosting this event for our Trust and to be working with such a wide range of school on making provision better for SEND children. This is a hot topic in the national press so it is wonderful that our school is at the forefront of raising standards.”
Mark Maydew, CEO of The Primitas Learning Partnership, added: “We are looking forward to welcoming and working alongside representatives from across the country as we continue our journey to make the most of the potential of all our SEND pupils in our schools. It is important to be outward-facing in terms of learning from experts, as well as one another, and this event is designed to very much make a real difference.”
There are a few tickets still available and they can be accessed here.
