In an exciting game our Year 7 boys proved victorious in their match against a talented team from The Hart School.
In what was a close first half, The Hart took the lead when a ball over the defence caused our defenders’ trouble and their striker slotted the ball home.
However, Friary grew into the game and great link up between Freddie McBreen, Fizz Olofinjana and Cadell Deschain-Rose saw Friary go into the lead.
A complete performance in the second half saw every member of the squad playing their part in extending the lead and completing the win. The goals were scored by Fizz Olofinjana (3), Cadell Deschain-Rose (1) we also forced an Own Goal.
The Goal of the Game saw Harley Gemmell’s outstanding vision in his own half producing an excellent drilled ball through to Fizz Olofinjana to complete his hat trick.
Meanwhile, the Player of the Match was too close to call so both Harley Gemmell and Fizz Olofinjana shared the accolade.
