Year 8 ventured out on an exciting trip to Mount Cook in Matlock as part of our Geography work on environment and habitat.
During the day students took part in an orienteering course around the local area of Black Rock and the High Peak trail, navigating from point to point using a variety of map reading techniques whilst admiring the local wildlife (cows!)
Students created lasting memories as they cheered each other on in the mud and the rain.
Beth Quin, trip organiser, said: “I want to thank all the students who came as they represented the school so well, showing great teamwork, resilience, and enthusiasm throughout the entire trip. Their positive attitude made the experience memorable for everyone involved. We are already looking forward to next year’s adventure.”
