Our Year 7 Netball team faced Nether Stowe in our latest fixture and having won the toss and got the game under way with a goal off the first centre.

The game continued will the girls’ skills allowing us to increase our total and went into half-time 9 goals up.

However, Nether Stowe have some great players, and they came back in the second half, but the girls kept most possession and created opportunities to score which allowed us to continue to build on our lead.

This also meant we switched players around and allowed more of the team onto the court in their favoured positions.

The match finished with a 17-5 win with Player of the Match awarded by the opposition to Freya Miller for her fantastic shooting.

Hollie Wright, team coach, said: “Next term we have more league games and their annual district tournament to continue to work towards. There is no training first 2 weeks back due to mocks but should be back from 11 March.”
