Our PTFA Quiz Night saw a full house of parents, staff and friends battle it out to take the plaudits and with so many in attendance there were lots of ways to raise funds for our awesome PTFA.

The quiz rounds were wide and varied from our top quiz-master, there were bonus rounds and raffles too, the fish’n chip supper was scoffed quickly, and the bar was kept busy through the evening.

We also got a chance to see our wonderful PTFA team in their new uniforms which have been generously sponsored by Clover HR and printed by WhiteLodge in Lichfield.

The winning team were ‘Requires Improvement’ – see photo – you can’t escape OFSTED anywhere can you !!!

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “It was a fantastic event and I for one really enjoyed it. Parents rightly expect a lot of their children’s school, but we take the view that we have the right to expect a lot of our parents. You very much get out of life what you put in and those parents that can come out and support events like this, or contribute via our PTFA more widely, make a high difference to all we can offer as a school. We’ll be here late after school doing boosters, we’ll be helping come Year 11 on Saturday Schools, and we’ll give up our time to do the trips and visits, so if our parents can offer what they can via our PTFA then it is the children who will benefit most.”
