What better way to support our school other than coming along to our ever popular PTFA Quiz Night. On Thursday 30th January we will be opening the doors to our sixth form centre and welcoming in some of the best ‘brains of Lichfield (and Fradley)’. Each year brings in keen quizzers who are all determined to win our quiz master trophy and a bottle of fizz for each player in the winning team.
As ever, there will be the PTFA bar and a raffle to help raise additional funds for the event.
At half time, there will be a fish and chip supper from Sefton’s Fish Bar to re-energise teams ready for the final rounds.
Tickets cost £7.50 on Parent Pay and includes entry into the quiz and your fish and chip supper. Teams of up to 6 players can enter. Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start -please be prompt so we can take your supper order and get you settled with a drink.
All funds raised from this event will go towards The Friary School PTFA who work tirelessly to put on fun events that will enable us to fund extra projects in school. This year we are keen to raise money to replace a school minibus.
Lottie Hearn, Deputy Headteacher, said; “Coming along to these events are a great way to get to know staff and meet other parents from our school. It’s a brilliant way to be involved in supporting your child whilst they attend The Friary and all the funds raised go into projects that help fund the little extras that can really make a difference. The Quiz night is always a fun night, and we can’t wait to see everyone there.”
