As part of incentivising Year 11 students to push hard for their formal exams, we have set up a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket-style scheme that see prize draws for different measures regularly made.
The tickets then go into a prize draw of free Prom tickets, festive goodies, etc.
The first formal exams start after Christmas – and parents have been notified if their chid is sitting a final vocational exam – so the final grades are very much upon us.
Sophie Grigg, Assistant Headteacher, said: “We have some delighted students celebrating their efforts with their prizes and there are big rewards to come. We expect our Year 11 students to work very hard for their exams , but it is important to inject some fun and excitement along the way. Amidst friendly rivalry, and much fun and laughter, we are doing just that.”
