In preparation for A Level English Literature exams, Year 12 and Year 13 students to see the Royal Shakespeare Company’s latest production of Shakespeare’s tragedy, ‘Othello’.
For some, it was their first visit to Stratford-Upon-Avon, so as well as being able to enjoy the theatre, they were able to see some of its other famous landmarks too.
The production was excellent, the students were fantastic – and they were even given upgraded seats so that they could watch the actors up close!
Amy Jones, Head of Sixth Form, said: “Being able to watch any play live is so important to students’ engagement, understanding and appreciation of the writer’s craft, so we were really fortunate to see this excellent production. All our students commented on how much they got out of it.”
