It’s that time of year when we launch our Friary PTFA Christmas Raffle and try to raise extra funds for school projects to be launched over the next year.

This year the Christmas Raffle will again be running as a text raffle.  All you need to do is text keyword: FRIARY24 to the number: 70970 and you will automatically be entered into our prize draw.  Each text makes a £5 donation to our raffle and entitles you to one entry.  You can text as many times as you like to make extra entries.  The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday 18 December and prize winners will be notified before the end of term.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped support so far by donating a fabulous range of prizes.

Our PTFA work hard to put on a range of fund-raising events across the school year including: the PTFA Quiz, Oktoberfest and running the bars at the school productions. These fund-raising events bring parents and staff together and help to raise funds for projects that directly impact on our pupils.  In recent years, we have been able to pay for a much needed canteen extension as well as a refurb of our Theatre. This year we are raising funds to help finance projects such as a new minibus and student rewards and events.

I hope you will take up this opportunity to support our school and your child by entering our Christmas Raffle 2024. You are also able to share the text details with family and friends who wish to have the opportunity to support our school and have a chance to win one of our fantastic prizes.

Lottie Hearn, Deputy Headteacher, said: “We are always very grateful for the support this raffle generates.  It always helps us to raise funds for school projects that directly impact the pupils.  It’s easy to get involved and if everyone purchases just one ticket we could make a huge impact on our fund-raising this year.”
