We were delighted to work with our academy trust, The Primitas Learning Partnership, to stage a celebratory event for those staff who have served over 20+ years in our school.
The event will be an annual one moving forward so this year saw a chance to catch up on overdue recognition.
The 20+ year awards were given out to:
Paul Agnew – PE Teacher – 23+ years
Helen Barratt – Senior Leader – 25+ years
Steve Cartner – Maths Teacher & Head of House – 21+ years
Alison Cartwright – DT Teacher – 23+ years
Sarah Massey – Teaching Assistant – 21+ years
Andy Millward – PE Teacher – 23+ years
Esther O’Rorke – Administrator – 23+ years
Jo Sherry – Business Teacher – 23+ years
Martin Trivasse – Cover Supervisor – 20+ years
Joanna Upton – Midday Supervisor & Exam Invigilator – 26+ years
Lisa Williams – Science Technician – 21+ years
The event was staged at Darnford Moors Golf Club and saw congratulatory speeches, refreshments, and gifts and cards.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “I was amazed at the lengths of service and to think of all of the children who have benefited over decades from the work and support of these staff. All of these colleagues continue to make a difference each and every day and so the opportunity to say ‘thank you’ was too good an opportunity to miss.”
