After the success of our new Year 7 Science Club last year we have so many fantastic students coming along we could not see them disappear out of Science in Year 8.
This year the Y7 Science Club returns but with Y8 Ambassadors to guide the younger students through the explosions, bangs and excitement of the world of science.
Dave Brown, Head of Science, said: “Last year’s Y11 students did superbly well in Science – our best results yet – and that starts by getting students hooked lower down and understanding that science not only makes a massive difference to the world, but can also be tremendously fun. We know our Y8 Ambassadors are only going to help in instilling this ethic.”
