We are thrilled to announce that seven of our talented Year 8, 9, and 10 students have been working alongside the esteemed professional dance company, Motionhouse, in preparation for a special performance at Tamworth Castle. This event celebrates the 1100th anniversary of King Athelstan’s ascension and promises to be a remarkable showcase of skill and dedication.
Over the past six weeks, these dedicated girls have participated in weekly workshops with Motionhouse’s professional dancers. Their hard work and commitment have been truly inspiring, as they have honed their dance skills and prepared for this significant performance.
Now, as the event approaches, they have transitioned into intense rehearsals at Tamworth Castle. Joined by the full Motionhouse company and guest performers, our students are putting the final touches on their performance, ensuring it will be a memorable experience for all who attend.
We invite everyone to come and support our students at Tamworth Castle on Saturday, 20th July 2024. There will be two shows, at 11am and 2pm, and entry is free. This is a wonderful opportunity to cheer on our talented students and celebrate their fantastic achievement.
