We said our final goodbye to our Year 13 leavers with our annual Leavers’ Assembly and Meal.
At the Leavers’ Assembly we were able to recognise a multitude of student achievements and also gave students the opportunity to vote for their own awards. We are so proud of all of the students, and it was so lovely to be able to reminisce with them, thank them and recognise them for the fantastic bunch that they are.
We held our Leavers’ Meal at The George Hotel and had a fantastic evening. There were excellent speeches form the Head Boy, Minhaz Uddin, and Head Girl, Holly Cutland – they really were an inspiration.
Helen Barratt, Assistant Headteacher said “The class of 2024 will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The Sixth Form Team feel incredibly privileged to have worked so closely with them and shared in their journey for the last two years. They really are a stand-out year group that we know are going to go on to do incredible things.”
