Our PTFA Comedy Night sees 3 professional comedians and a superb Lichfield compere arrive in our school on Friday 10 May.

The annual event raises funds for the PTFA which in turn goes to fund school projects which would otherwise flounder. In recent years school minibuses, computer suites, lighting in the theatre, books for the library, etc, have all come out of PTFA coffers.

The evening also sees food and drink on sale to make it a fantastic night. It is over 18s only and is a staple on the PTFA calendar.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “We are facing the most challenging school budgets I have seen in a decade as a Headteacher and we are more than ever reliant on these events to fund provision. Staff will be turning out to support and contribute to the event – and the hardy band of PTFA supporters too – and we’d ask all those parents who want their child’s school to provide the best for their child to sacrifice one evening to support the school. School’s do not happen in a vacuum – they rely on parents making them work – and we could do with all the support we can get at the moment.”
