Year 8 RE students have had the opportunity to ‘Grill a Christian’ today when three guest speakers from Wade Street Church in Lichfield, The Youth Net in Stafford and The Lichfield Christian Schools Work Trust came into school.

During the sessions students were able to ask questions to the speakers.

Students were fantastic and asked some really intriguing questions including:
* Why does God let people suffer?
* Why did you become a Christian?
* As a Christian, what do you believe about the death penalty?
* Do you take the Bible literally?
* Can Christians believe in dinosaurs?
* Does everyone go to heaven?
* What has been your biggest struggle as a Christian?

Kelly Gabbitass, Head of RE, said: “This experience was a really great opportunity for students to engage with someone of faith and learn how faith impacts a person’s life.”
