We got the following email after the school closed on Friday 26 April which announces a diverted service on Monday 29 April and Tuesday 30 April.
Regrettably, this late notification means we have not been able to tell you until it will be too late. It does appear that it is due to an emergency risk caused by dead trees which need felling.
Dear Staffs/ Friary,
Please see attached the proposed works dated Monday 29th – Tuesday 30th April, we anticipate the works will be completed and therefore return to normal route on Wednesday 31st April.
In the interim we will be implementing the below diversion on the 817 AM service – whilst this will not affect any boarding locations, we anticipate a delay of around 10 minutes. The PM service remains unaffected.
The 818 will also remains unaffected.
Thank you
