Our Year 10 Health & Social Care students visited The Spires Care Home for some Easter fun and activities.

The students interacted and helped a variety of residents with different Easter activities including bonnet designing, colouring and puzzles and activities.

Trudy Simkiss, visit organiser, said: “The experience allows the pupils undertaking the course have a real-life insight into the later adulthood life stage and see the effects of older age and even dementia. Our course is about preparing students for potential career routes, but also the natural progression of life they will experience within their families and in themselves.”
