Steve Cartner, Head of Garrick House said: “Garrick House always make me proud. We have so many amazing students who have great attendance, superb behaviour and an amazing work ethic. They support the House Charity week and take part in debates, House exhibitions and independent learning challenges as well as all those that do extra-curricular activities like sports clubs, music and performing arts to name but a few. This was the last time Year 11 will be with us in their tutor groups and so feels like the ned of an era when students move on to a new part of their journey in life. I was delighted to give out so many prizes and awards today; Achievement Assemblies are always a favourite part of the term for me and having OFTED come in to witness Garrick students being rewarded for their outstanding contributions to school only made it better. Well done on another great term, let’s see if we can re-gain our Sports Day trophy that Darwin stole from us last year.”
