As part of our Rewards Programme we run termly Appreciation Weeks where students are encouraged to express their gratitude to family, friends and staff for the support and encouragement they get in their daily lives.
This sees students write cards with personal messages to express their acknowledgement of what other people do for them.
This is a big part of supporting well-being and personal welfare and to recognise that there are always people around you at our school who are keen to support and help anyone in need.
Hollie Wright, Rewards Lead, said: “It has been lovely to see the postcards floating around school all week, thanking, and reflecting why saying thank you is so important, let alone the happiness of receiving one. Parents should have a look in their child’s bag as there may be there is one with your name floating around for you.“
