Out Year 9 Pathways Evening was very well attended and gave parents the opportunity to explore the subjects and options that their children have already been talked through in school.

The evening saw a main presentation in our theatre taking through the whole process. Following this, parents got to meet subject teachers to talk through the subjects and to ask the questions that they felt would help their children make their decision.

Richard Barnett-Richards, Assistant Headteacher, said: “We aim to make sure that the evening provides all of the details that inform considered decisions. We know that our curriculum structure helps children realise their best outcomes and we are confident our Year 9s will go on to great success in Summer 2026.”

Matt Allman, Headteacher, added: “It was great to chat things through with parents, and build on the relationships we have forged over the last 2½ years, because we know the children living in homes where the families are part of their schooling journey do better in every way. Parents are crucial in making happy and successful children in school and we know this evening is so important in setting this up for the years ahead.”
