The Friary School are delighted to share that Eleanor Easton (Year 13) has been shortlisted for an Inspirational Youth Award, in the Inspirational Person of the Year category.
The Inspirational Youth Awards seek to showcase the positive impact that incredible young people are driving in their communities. They also seek to inspire future generations to play a positive role in raising aspirations with the idea that each of them can be a force for change in their lives and their communities.
This nomination is for Eleanor’s volunteering contributions at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital YPAG (Young Persons Advisory Group), which she has been doing for the last 18 months.
Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “There are a lot of incredible young people in the various categories – and the judges have difficult decisions to make – but there is also a voting element and we are continually impressed by the contribution and work ethic of our Eleanor and would urge everyone to give her their support in the voting.”
