The staff’s chosen charity for the year – the Alzheimer’s Society – benefited from our fun Elf Day which saw a fund-raisng total of £300 for the organisation.
Amidst staff within various degrees of elf-ness on them, there were also a number of prize-winners who contributed donations.
Ethan Roberts (8S2) and Amy Windeler (7G1) won a Christmas Hamper each and Adam Brown (9G1) won a £10 Amazon voucher.
Sophie Butler, event organiser, said: “This is an important charity both personally, but also for all of us as we and our relatives head towards old age. The Elf Day brought a good deal of fun to our school, raised awareness about a difficult issue with our students, and raised funds for further research and support.”
