Our Year 12 students are keen to support the next generation coming through and so Abi Butler, Milly Colloff and Poppy Grimshaw have set-up a GCS French Speaking Exam Booster to support those students facing their oral exams this summer.
The sessions are already popular and are encouraging Year 11 students to speak up with confidence and surety.
Charlie Simpson, Head of French, said: “We offer a wide range of support with GCSE French and we were again thrilled with our Summer results which were exceptionally strong. However, this student-to-student support is a fantastic route as the Y12s really understand the fears of the students coming through. It is a real boost to learn from someone else who has recently been there, that you can do it, you are well-prepared, and that you will do well.”
