Our four Houses are well underway with their annual battle for supremacy wit the House Cup the ultimate prize, but other competitions also available to get prestige and victory.

Our main House Cup has seen Seward House – last year’s winners – take an early lead with total House points:

1. Seward – 31,058
2. Johnson – 30,948
3. Darwin – 29,396
4. Garrick – 28,510

These fantastic scores also reflect the amount of rewards and praise being given out by school staff to incentivise and encourage every child.

Elsewhere, Seward are also leading on Lowest Behaviour Points, Current Affairs Competitions and Attendance Rates. Darwin have taken first place in the Debating Competition.

Stacey Walsh, Assistant Headteacher, said: “Our House ethos is very much about team competition, and a range of chance to succeed and be recognised. Seward are very dominant at the moment so it will be up to the other Heads of Houses and student leaders to turn the tide and make headway. There is still a long way to go and places can very easily change.”
