We are staging our Year 13 Parents Evening on Thursday 19 October on Teams as part of our partnership with home as we run into the final A-Level and vocational exams.

This parents evening is timed to take place before the important mock exams after half-term so that every effort can be it in at home to ensure that revision is plentiful.

It is also an important time to focus in on university and higher-level apprenticeship applications as most families will already have been on open days visits or started to hunt for the apprenticeship opportunities.

Parents will be reminded of appointment details, etc, near to the time.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “The mock exams are critical in spotting learning gaps and there is nothing to be gained from them if a student does not give them their very best. It is by seeing their best that we can understand where they need to improve and this analysis can make all the difference once the real exams roll in.”
