Helen Barratt, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The university applications process is one we intensively support our students on so we are always thrilled to see them go on and secure the fantastic placements they were seeking. Equally, amidst the changeable national picture, it was great to see students be snapped up by top universities via clearing. We are hugely proud of each and every one of these students and count ourselves fortunate that we had them with us.”
Matt Allman, Headteacher, added: “For me it is always the personal stories behind the grades that matter. I get to know plenty of Mums and Dads over the years and it is wonderful to think of them beaming on these destinations. We all go through ups and downs with our kids but when it all turns out as well as this then it all becomes so worthwhile. We cannot wait to hear how the students get on and will be making sure our next cohort of Year 13s know what the benchmark is.”
