A great end to a successful year for Seward House, the top 16 students for achievement points went on the school minibus with Head of House, Mr Sleigh to visit Tatenhill Airfield to deliver the £1709.93 raised by our generous parents, students and teachers.

We gave a huge thank you goes to the amazing staff at Midlands Air Ambulance for their continued hard work. They gave up their time to speak to students about their services, plus answered questions from students and explained the importance of the fund-raising to help the charity move forward.

Our partnership with Midlands Air Ambulance continues into the 2023-24 academic year with our house week in October and this trip has left students leaving the airfield, already considering some new fundraising ideas and events for the House week.

Jamie Sleigh, Head of House, said: “We asked our student to re-evaluate which local charity they wished to support and they voted to maintain the connection with Midland Air Ambulance. They understand the value of their donations, the work of the Air Ambulance team, and the fact that their donations help save the lives of those in our local community. We look forward to raising more funds next year.”
