Amidst a whole host of events and celebrations to reward our fantastic students, we have our Inflatable Day which saw hundreds of students bounce around to acknowledge their fantastic efforts this year.
The House competition element of this saw all students in the wining House get a session on the inflatables and Seward House took the overall title so every member of the team took their part in the fun.
Added to this, the top 45 from each of the other three Houses – Darwin , Garrick & Johnson – got involved too. These groups were largely made up of the Top 45 in each House in terms of net points (so House points minus behaviour points). The House points are rewarded largely on effort so everyone has a fair go.
Additionally we gave 20 Sixth Formers the chance to throw themselves around too.
Stacey Walsh, Assistant Headteacher, said: “The students were fantastic and had a brilliant time – we have asked them so many times for other options for this day but they come back and say they simply love the inflatables and as there is always something new they get a different experience each time. There are further rewards going out in our House Celebration events and our Attendance Rewards Day takes place next week.”
