Our Duke of Edinburgh of Award  Scheme has seen 100s of students go through and get a range of awards and this year has been no different with both Bronze and Silver programmes and expeditions having been delivered.

We were contacted this week by the Duke of Edinburgh to congratulate us on the 507hrs of voluntary community work that has been conducted in our locale as part of our programmes.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said; “We run this highly respected programme as part of our commitment to develop our students into the well-rounded citizens that we want in our local community and our students come up trumps on a regular basis. This voluntary work covers a wide range of tasks, sectors and opportunities and the creativity and  commitment of our students is a credit to them.”
