Seward House welcomed their House charity, Midland Air Ambulance, into school to teach Year 7-9 students CPR, first aid and managing bleed control.

The House has worked hard for the charity this year – raising valuable funds – so the visit was a thank you and even included the donation of a bleed control kit for the school.

Looking forward, fifteen Seward House students will be heading up to Tatenhill airfield and will spend time with the Midland Air Ambulance team to learn more about their valuable work.

Matt Allman, Headteacher, said: “The Seward House team have resoundingly voted to retain their tie-in with Midland Air Ambulance and this only reflects the close relationship between the students and the organisation. We work to make sure our students develop connections to their local community as it is there they can make a real difference to local peoples’ lives.“
