As part of our popular BTEC Enterprise course our Year 11 students are now delivering their business pitches which are a key component of their final assessment.
The Dragon’s Den-style pitch involves a product, a selection of messages, a business concept and a need to convince and justify the vision.
Our Enterprise course benefits from strong practical elements that give real life skill-sets, relevant contexts and examples, and experiences which prepare our students for the world of work.
Bex Oldfield, Assistant Headteacher, said: “We are looking forward to seeing the students’ presentations as we know we have some real talent out there. The ability to speak up and take a lead is such an important life skills and this assessment task is a great way of formalising the skill-set.”
